Video for Nonprofits: Finding your Story

This event is the second in a series of eight monthly meetups focusing on Video for Nonprofits. We will cover everything from strategy to hands-on editing workshops between now and March 2014. Please join us!

You know you want to use video to promote your organization – but where to start? You start with a good story.

Allanah and Tiva will address several things to consider as you search for and shape your story. Topics covered include:

  1. Basic principles of storytelling such as message, tone, and structure
  2. The unique story-telling concerns that come up for non-profits
  3. Examples and techniques for how to apply all this to visual storytelling.
